That is unfortunate...especially since Freddie Spencer's school there is gone. There's definitely a void for track training here.

Is this ONLY a 2 day camp? I'd love to come out for a day and do level 2. I did Level 1 at Barber a couple of years ago. I'm looking to do a school this year, and can't really spare the $$$ or time off work for a 2 day camp in the middle of the week.

Which track will you be at when at VIR in May?

How is the school going to handle the hurricane if it comes through Barber this weekend? I'm in the class Sunday

I'm doing the level 1 class at Barber over Labor Day weekend. One of my fears on the street is leaning the bike over too far (I ride an FJR 1300). At the level 1 class, will we get the opportunity to use the lean bike?

I'm just curious, is the gear shifter reversed (ie 1 is up, not down) on the rental bikes? I only ask because my brother in law races and I know his shifter is reversed. I'm afraid that will confuse me since I'm used to a normal shifting pattern. I'm registered for the 1 day at Barber in September...I can't wait!

I got the 2-piece leathers also, so it isn't enough for me to feel safe. $65 for all of the gear is quite a good deal! I'm in process of checking with my medical benefits to make sure they will pay, just in case something happens.
