Have you attended a California Superbike School school?

  1. Hello Fellow Riders, I purchased a 2-day class at Willow Springs and had a crash a few days before the class, so lost my place. Since the school does not allow refunds, is there anyone willing to purchase $2150 worth of a ticket from me? Due to injuries sustained in the crash, I can no longer ride fast bikes like this. I am quite sad about it too. We can run the payment through Escrow.com so both parties are safe--I will pay the fee just to see this ticket not go to waste! The school is aware of my situation, so they can confirm the transferability of the ticket. Hope someone can help me! Thank you! Kimberly
  2. Just wondering if anyone wants to grab dinner on October 3rd or the 4th. I am riding down from Las Vegas for the school day on the 4th and figured it would be nice to meet some of my fellow students.
  3. Hello! I'm a CSS newbie. Very excited to be participating in the level 1 class and meeting cool people. (Short intro) My name is Aravind. I've ridden a couple different motorcycles (<200cc) when I lived in India. My first real sport bike was a 2004 GSX-R 600. I had it for about a year, but only got to ride it during the 7 months where Buffalo,NY doesn't look like Alaska I moved to the California bay area last year and recently acquired a 2008 Ducati 848. I watched the twist of the wrist videos and realized that I have a lot to learn. Found the nearest available class and signed up. This will be my first time on a track. I'm getting a hitch installed on my car and am planing on renting a motorcycle trailer from u-haul, but I'm dreading the boring commute from San Francisco to Lancaster. If anyone else here is attending the school on the 14th and can use some company, say hi. Some questions about the class/track 1. Does it make sense to bring your own fuel? How much is appropriate? 2. How do I get myself photos/videos of myself on the track? Do they have professionals on the track that would do this for a fee? 3. I'm installing new tires on my bike this week. I was planning on commuting ~40mi everyday to break them in a little. Is there a better way to break-in tires? -Aravind
  4. Hey guys! I will be attending my first class with CA Superbike School in Willow Springs on April 20th (next Saturday) and was wondering if anyone else from the Orange County/LA area would want to carpool up or split $$ for a rental truck up there. I'm in Newport Beach and will be heading out to WS early Saturday morning and am probably going to end up renting a truck if I can't find someone else to carpool with so maybe someone will want to split a truck ride up? Worth a shot Seeya on the track! Sean
