  1. Vorontzov; The pick up drill is used to get the bike more verticle more quickly so you can drive out harder - if I understand it myself correctly. It would be after the apex of the corner so how you ended up on the other side of the curbing is puzzling. Can you explain this a little bit more? Also if you were at NJMP, which turn did this happen in? Mika

Pappa; If you have access to both, Keith offers a detailed explaination in Chapter V (pages 34-35) of the Twist of the Wrist Vol. I. and in Section 1; Chapter 2 (pg.7) in Twist of the Wrist Vol. II. Your question has many parts to its answer and taken as a whole you should get a better understanding of how to approach and exit a corner. If not, then come back and we'll try again. Mika
