  1. Anthem, I think his essential message was "remains to be seen".
  2. I don't know how many people saw Ts post with the video about the GP Busa. Please do. Nic
  3. K, Okay, Now I get at least this much. Sometimes doing nothing is best. I like it. I'm really good at that. Chuckles, Nic
  4. Thanks K, I love it when you give us drills like this to master a technique. I have often felt like I can't wait to try something like this after getting it from you. Nic
  5. Keith, I'm glad you used launching in your example because I'm pretty good at that and it makes me feel good to remember and be aware of all the improvements I've made since the words Twist of the Wrist were first spoken to me about six months ago. Its surprising how much improvement can be made with the written and DVD materials you've produced without taking an actual School day. I know because my friends are amazed at how I've improved by applying all you've taught me that way. Peace out, Nic
  6. E, I'm going to refer you to my previous response to Anthem. Thanks
  7. I'm sorry Anthem. I don't have a clue what's going on. In science the simplest answer is often the best. You don't know much about my bike and I certainly never said anything about lengthening it. I never said anything about a Hayabusa in my wait a minute statement. I'm not debating anyone. I'm just trying to decide what kind of bike I want.
  8. The perch from which I'm going to smoke you all...just kidding. Look, I'm not even a great street rider or canyon carver. I'm just a little above average rider. I hope there's no pretense beyond that. I know I need track time and schooling. Right now I can't get it although I did find a way to get on the track out side of CSS. So????
  9. Wait a minute. Two bikes exit the corner together. The one that has the over all better acceleration has to win. That can't be wrong.
  10. It can't be about two riders who get through turns at the same rate and one has a better top end. That's just indisputable. Nic
  11. I mean, I know a Hayabusa is not the perfect track bike...is that what everyone is all up in arms about?
  12. Yeah, I don't even know if he pinned it. Just took pleasure in the fact that I could be all over him. E, I honestly don't understand where I'm going wrong if I am.????
  13. Of course it is. For example, two riders of equal skill go through a turn come out together and the one dusts (as I did to a BMW S1000RR yesterday) . Who wins over time? Please don't scold me about where this took place. That's my business.
  14. All, I'm at something of a disadvantage here since I don't know how to do things like post a picture or take specific quotes to task. Its pretty obvious I'm getting hammered by several people and that's fine. I'm not afraid to engage in discourse. Its not my first time by a long shot. The fact that I've never been on a track doesn't diminish the strength of my assertions. Nic
  15. T, I appreciate that you took my feelings into consideration. Hotfoot. I guess you're the moderator so I have to take cues from you. Nic
  16. Hotfoot, Is HP restricted or not. Why would you spend money on something you can't use? Nic
  17. Eirik, Thanks very much for your thoughtful and kindly words to help me understand what's happening in the forum. Peace out.
  18. Anthem, Again, All I'm saying is the most power, properly applied to the pavement wins. Period. Nic
  19. Anthem, Just for grins if a 600 is faster than a GP why aren't the top guys out there winning on them? Nic
  20. Anthem, You are so far off about my thinking that it couldn't be any further from the truth. Nuff said.
  21. E, Thanks. You continue to think I'm scared on my bike but I'm not. I'm just as sure T will be answering for himself. Lastly, guaranteed I'll go faster on most if not all tracks on my "whatnot" Busa than a 600. Thanks again my Norwegian buddy.
  22. T, I'm not really sure how you're trying to avoid offending me and be helpful to me by posting all sorts of crazy stuff which seems designed to embarrass me. I know the big boys are way restricted in power so there's a level playing field. Seems like you take this all very personally and for me its about becoming a better rider and using every tool at my disposal. Nic
