  1. Wow I think you have a Phobia of left turns. I bet this lenghtens your ride home but mabye that is a good thing if you are in CA
  2. Thanks for some honest feedback. I like the recommendation to not take advice from too many people and get one specialist at it who can help. I will say again I dont race I just wonder if i could help my street riding by adjusting suspension or should I just leave it alone. Thanks for the help
  3. Kevin, thanks for the input. I am very interested in returning to school. I had a blast last time I went and would love to learn more. I also feel my street riding got better because of the class. Anyway I still want to go to the class and I still want to know this before I get to the class next time. Guys help a fellow rider out with some information on how these things work. Thanks
  4. Does this mean that people will be sharing some of this information or will I have to go to level 2 and 3 first? Even though I loved the class I took at Watkins Glen I will never be a racer I will hopefully just be a good street rider. If you could say some of the things you learn in the classes I think that would help alot of people once this gets going. Thanks for any input Bob
  5. I am curious who really knows what suspension is all about. Also I would like to see if this is something we can all learn from. Enjoy Bob
  6. Rowdy, Thank you for the input already this is a better explaination than anybody I have ever talked to. I will start messing around when it stops snowing haha
  7. Well I only have experience on one track and that is Watkins Glen NY and by far to me turn 1 is the hardest. It is a changing radius and changing camber turn. Also it starts after the front straight, and gets traffic from the pit exit. To me that was harry but it is a rush.
  8. Hey cool I am the first guy to put a topic here I wonder if I recieve a free track lesson at Watkins Glen (home track) Anyway here it the question that myself and all my riding buddies want to know. How do you go about setting up your suspension? One of my best riding friends Rides an RC51 and I ride a TL1000R. Both apparently have fully adjustable suspension but we leave them at stock settings. I have not been able to have people explain what good suspension should feel like and then I have not had them tell me what feeling the different settings should change. All this said I am only asking for help in this field. Oh yeah mabye weights would help as well. I am 180 read that 195 LBS at 6 ft tall, and my friend is 150 soaking wet at 5'9''
