I'll be interested to see what verson of the story makes it back to the UK on his name, please do tell.

Wrong tyre, no warmers, 3 corners, no one could have rode it! Fill in the rest of it as you like!

Also From this weekend...

Johny "Daytona" Haynes - he hates it, which is all the more reason this one should stick. I'll let him explain in private to the UK guys where this came from :) But it sounds cool ( like a 70's porn start name) and it even comes with a little tune (think porn music, bow chicka wow wow) and dance :)

Timmy "Vegas" Johnson - he earned this one this weekend as well :)

As a native of Las Vegas I have to agree...Timmy had the "Vegas" side burns that Elvis would envey...who could miss them and if I recall he could shake a leg on his bike...

Vegasboy,

Nice for posting that on the chops, but there is a little more to how Timmy got that name.

Ask him (if he's man enough to come out on the forum) how many times he's had lets say "traction issues" at Vegas?

OK,maybe this is crystal clear to all, and I'm a bit dense, but he was either taking a leak or chewing on some grass....?

CF

Appologies, a bit complicated this one...missed the slip road, left the tarmac and was 'moving slowly over pasture land'....Grazing!

G

Missed the slip road? Last time I checked, the shortest distance between two points was a straight line. I was simply making the most efficient use of the available space.

Heay Adam,

Heard you did pretty well in your first race mate, well done! Got any photos, get them up in the photo section.

Pretty sure we can confirm "Winkle" now.

We got to the track, had our morning meeting, and guess who was snoozing in his car?

Young guys need their rest, I know.

Hey Cobie,

I did go pretty good.....well, kinda. We had 3 races, and my results sheet read 1st place, DNF-Crash, DNF-Mech.

Hope to do more of it, and I can see it being of great benefit to my riding and coaching.

I don't have any shots of the race weekend, but I've popped one up that was taken at the test I did on the bike I'm hoping to race next year. It's in the "shots of yourself" (or something like that) thread.

Cheers

Hehehe, "traction issues," good one! Remember the time we locked him in Will's trailer?

I vote for McGoo for Cobie, though I'm not old enough to remember the cartoon, I did witness him step right off the end of the trailer at Mid O and while sitting on his butt in the grass, mention that something must be wrong with his glasses.

As for Toohey, maybe "Jack Daniels?" The brits will remember when James volunteered to snort JD through his nose and then promptly scream like a girl while his nose hairs were being burnt off! I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life.

"Misti" doesn't count as a nickname :)

I don't know, "Moron" might be better for someone that snorts a bunch of JD.

So, what do we call Jon Groom? Gramps seems lacking a little imagination.

And, how about Ibbott? Idiot doesn't really cut it, we need something more fitting...anyone?

Misti,

That Spain trip was a good one for memories and James taking the biggest slug of JD's on the spoon despite our best advice is certainly one of them. Then watching his bravado disappear as it hit hope just what he had done was priceless. Happy days

Greetings,

You decided on a name for Misti yet?

How about 'Pea Soup' ? as in "jeeez guv, i'd have got here sooner but it's like pea soup out there". From Misti - Mist - Fog - Foggy - Pea Soup.

I'll get my coat then eh haha.

Misti, pea soup, eh? What do you guys think? Not sure it fills all the requirements as listed earlier in this thread, Jet?

Somehow I missed this since October...

Pete = Mr. Perfect ... how many guys do you know that will strip down and start doing Perfect Pushups in the near buff with their hotel door wide open

Misti = Hulk ... she is the most endearing person until you make her angry, no I will not give examples

Stoney = Mini Me ... the strongest memory I had of him for years was the Keith Code lip fur, lots of guys asked if he Keith's son back in the day, in the 90s he was a mini Keith

Dylan = DeathStick ... need to ask little Peter on that one, this one was his I suspect is has to do with Dylan being one of the few adults alive that can ride a ripstick

I believe Will's bootcamp nickname still applies.

I have tried my best to stay away from this thread. Stoney = Mini Me is just fantastic. That one sticks.

Pete as Mr. Perfect reminds me too much of a wrestler from the 80's. My age is on full display.

If I were to play the part of Cobie I'd hang The Prodigy / Protege on Pete. Windscreen decal on order.

Somehow missed these latest additions, but CSS Admin needs to be informed of the rules (or my vague interpretation of them)--we need some kind of history on these names, can't be top secret.

Bullet (and the UK gang) do I have that correct?

It occurs to me that after a little run-in with a couple of White Russians a few years back, a good name for Cobie would be Sergei.

Dude that's is ancient history, and there are very few witnesses to this, so did it really happen?

The more CF resists, the more it sticks
