  1. Thanks for the replies. I'm planning on doing a two day school towards the end of the summer. That's what brought me here. I can lock my knee in but to do so I can't hang off as much. I experimented with a few things at my track day yesterday and I think I found a happy medium for now. It wouldn't hurt if I got myself into a little better shape as well, but I think I'm happy where I'm at right now. It was more or less a curious question on my part. The next thing I need to work on is keeping my chest on the tank. I do it on highspeed turns but not slower ones for whatever reason.... I still get my body and head over but I think I keep my head a little higher because its easier to look through the tighter turns like that...
  2. Ok so I like to think I have pretty good body position and form and am pretty smooth. However I have short legs so to get off the bike I need to stretch a lot, and it's hard for me to put weight on the outside peg and when I start tiring it feels like sometimes my outside foot might slip off the peg all together. I have rear set raisers too so my pegs aren't gonna get much higher. Additionally my legs get tired and sore pretty quickly so my riding diminishes towards the end of trackdays and I can't get off the bike anymore. I'm a borderline advanced/intermediate rider depending on who I'm riding with and can be pretty fast and still not drag my knee that much. My question is; would I be better off just concentrating on weighting the pegs and stop hanging off?
