  1. Basic Suspension Workshop: (this is not advanced, and will be in plain English!) Want to learn the basics of what your suspension is, how it works, and how to set it up for you and your bike? And then do it? (this is a hands on workshop!). California Superbike School and Dave Hodges of GP Suspension, will hold a basic suspension workshop at the Superbike School shop in LA. Dave is an expert in suspension, helping many racers and street riders, (including our own Will Eikenberry who recently broke and re-broke the track record at The Streets of Willow Springs), and Dave will direct the hands-on adjustments made to everyone's bikes. There will be a brief theory session prior to each suspension check and change. Dave, staff and attendees will team up and handle each bike. A suspension setting sheet will be provided for each bike. Dave will recommend whatever you need to sort out your bike's handling. The donation is $20 and proceeds go to the nationwide Children's How to Set a Good Example Campaign. DETAILS (please read carefully!) Who can come: Anyone, any motorcycle. You must bring any specialty tools needed for setting your bikes suspension if they aren't generally available tools! Limit: 30 riders. RSVP: required, pre-register via the school office. You can only sign up for this at the Superbike School office, you cannot sign up via the web page. 2. I too have nothing but thanks for the folks at the school. Especially: Steve Brouggy, Jason, Keith, Cobie, Will and Stoney.
  3. I never got to see the King race in person. The closest I got to a view like that was Bostroooom passing hayden on the front wheel.
  4. Rosamond California, November 29/30. Eikenberry and Kawasaki sweep CCS races at Willow Springs. Record laps and race wins were the order of the day for the California Superbike School's former instructor turned mechanic Will Eikenberry. Will took his stock (pipe only) ZX-6R, 636 Kawasaki to 4 wins and the absolute track record of 1:19.520 during the weekend's events. Will won, GTU, Sportbike, unlimited GP and Formula 40. He also got second in the GTO race after loosing 13 seconds from an off track "excursion" and set a new track record on his route to the podium in that race. Will wants to thank: Thanks to all who helped me get to this level. Keith Code and the California Superbike School, Kawasaki, Dunlop, Silkolene, AGV Sports, KBC Helmets, Lockhart Phillips, Sharkskinz, Factory Pro Tuning, Graves Motorsports, L&L Motorsports, Yins TKD and Elka shocks. ----- I don't feel so bad that he walked away from me at Barber like he did. I'm not that slow, he is just that fast! Congrats Will!
  5. I did the 2-day first. It would say that the 2-day was the best, it was a blast and lots of track time. But I would say that you have plenty to think about no matter which way you do it. I got through Levels 1-2 in the two day camp and then have done one day schools since. I really want to get back to a two day camp. It was a blast and you get to play with all the school's toys. I was watching a DVD of my laps back in '98, man I was slow, and I felt like I was FLYING... all perspective. Barber was a blast this year. Best track yet I think.
  6. One of the best is Road America! The rest are here: http://www.superbikeschool.com/us/multi_me...ck_videos.shtml
  7. Seems to me that until the winter rust breaks off we don't know who will move closer to the '04 title, and who got a peek at TOTW III.
  8. Turn 2a/b at Laguna, it tends to play tricks on the weak of front wheel confidence. Chandler is awesome there.
  9. This is a question for the Superbike School instructors.
  10. You can have Rossi. Though I have to admit, his attitude makes him enjoyable. I will take Edwards over anybody in the grid. He has the heart, the skill, the experience and now the bike. Plus he comes from the proper side of the ocean.
