  1. I fully intend for her to be faster than I am... To that end I will provide her every opportunity my motorcycle hating parents denied me till I moved out Thought it was cute.. and nowhere else would appreciate it more.. Apologies in advance for the bad lighting iphone shots Don't wait.. Start those kids learning early
  2. Now take those savings and pay for your pics! Those are some pretty damn good pics but you can barely see them through all the watermarks... Or I suppose you could make friends with the photog.. Guess it depends which you have more of.. Charm or money
  3. One other thing that's important is fit... Your bodyshape - height and weight.. You may need your suit customized (you can take an off the shelf suit to a good leather repair place (there are places that specialize in racing suits - such as spyder leatherworks) and have them bring in part. IE.. Dainese suits fit like Armani suits.. Vanson are cut more for "american" men (not including you california skinnys) incidentally I have heard good things from some of the other big guys i know about AlpineStar trigger and charger suits (most suits are to small in the chest and big in the pants for a lot of us bigger guys)..
  4. I am kind of new here - but define breaking the bank? You should be able to get into something very decent at the 1k or lower mark. Have you checked any of the closeout sites? (i don't know the local policies - this is post #2 for me.. so i won't go posting links to commercial sites..) There are a lot of good deals to be found.. I have a teknic speedstar kangaroo suit I picked up from a guy on ebay new with tags for 600 bucks.. Those are over 1k new
  5. Autobahn Country Club - First NESBA day (Hence B.. Generally run I group with STT/PTT) On my street beater SV650 - bone stock everything (even suspension - I am 270lbs without gear) I actually signed up tonight to discuss some cornering questions (track coaches have issue with the the technique I used to get through the corner, they prefer you to go in low and early.. I always push wide.. I tend to go in deep - late apex and get it done) Yes I know I am cocked over a bit there, trust me I try to get off, if i get off much more than I am there I tend to upset that little bike on bad suspension - I'll take a skrrrch over a wobble wallow any day Can't wait till spring and so jealous of you cali types
