  1. I signed up for having lap times recorded at an event to run later this spring costing $20 each day. Because I have my own lap timer am I paying for something unnecessarily? Or, are there some additional benefits from using the School's lap timing program? Thanks, Steve
  2. Some nervousness is good. It sharpens your senses and keeps you alert.
  3. Overdoing it? Not at all. I am no expert by any stretch so I can't judge. I still have not taken Level 1 and 2 (doing that in early June). I can see that a person would need a well-conditioned core.
  4. That is quite some "hang"! Question: How much weight are you bearing on the handlebars? Any? I am trying to imagine my own left leg bearing almost all the weight to keep me on the bike. Thanks, Steve
  5. I am attending the two-day camp at Barber in June. I did not know we would go onto Level 2 on the 2nd day. Now I am looking forward to this event even more!
  6. 1 or 2 days Steve? CF The two-day camp! Look forward to it. I have been to Barber a couple of times and really and really like it.
  7. I am signed up for Barber June 4-5 and I echo Crash's wish list for things to learn. In addition I want to fix my cornering BP. I have done several (more than several actually) track days, primarily with NESBA, and I am stuck and not progressing. I really look forward to CSS to help me take a big step forward!
  8. Greetings all. 49 year-old who started on cruisers and migrated (evolved?) into sport bikes over the years. I presently ride a 2007 BMW K1200S and 2001 Suzuki GSX-R750 the latter being primarily a track bike. I have participated in many track days but find myself stuck firmly in "B" or "N" group and progress has stunted. Thought I could never do a CSS but some some unexpected discretionary funds came available and I signed up for a two-day camp at Barber in early June. I am really looking forward to this. I have Twist book I and II and recently ordered the DVD. Look forward to riding the S1000 too!
