Davissa; Your describing a common misconception regarding the Superbike School; that Level I can be skipped over because of prior rider experience. It can't. Just like you can't remove one leg of a stool and still expect to be able to sit on it, level I is necessary to move onto Level II and so on. Every student including professional racers who have attended the School all go through Level I first. Since you are planning on attending CSS/Barber you will understand it once you're there. BTW, it is always helpful if you have read the Twist of the Wrist books and/or watched the DVD because it will give you a better foundation in the structured approach that Keith Code has developed over the past three decades. Planning to attend the June 6, 2010 school at Barber. Should I start at Level I or II? I ride a 2008 250 Ninja and have particpated in about a half dozen track days and two WERA races. My lap times at Barber last weekend were between 1:58 - 2:00. Don't want to jump past Level I...just looking to get started in the correct level. I have a lot to learn....

Hello from a newbie to the forum! I ride a 2008 Kaw 250 Ninja track only bike and a 2004 BMW K1200LT (and the wife actually loves to ride 2 up on the LT) on the road. I'm racing WERA ESS (a real blast) and participating NESBA SE track days on the 250 Ninja...looking forward to attending the school and becoming a smooth, consistent, flowing rider on the track.
