  1. Can we bring our own pro photographer?
  2. Luis - You need to tell me in which Jobar Team you got that icon of yours! I'm trying to do the same, but no success on my part. Oops... I finally managed!
  3. Hmmm... My '76 was yellow. Maybe color options were different in the States vs Canada... Had it for two years before trading it for the CX 500.
  4. Like many others before me, I wanted to do what was verbotten by my parents. When I was 11, my uncle showed up on a Norton Commando. I asked my uncle to take me for a ride but me mum said 'Not while I'm alive, you're not'. To this day, I don't know if she was talking to me or my uncle. Nevertheless, a few years later, I saw my buddies ride their shining new Hondas 350 and move up to 750s in time. When someone wanted to sell his yellow Honda 400F to buy a Triumph (can't remember fer sure, but I seem to recall it was a Tiger), I jumped on the opportunity. At $0.75 per cc, I just had to get it! I did. It was the first of 16 bikes I got over the next 35 years.
  5. Yowzer! That was the year I traded my Honda 400F for my CX500!
  6. Cobie, come to think of it, since I'm listed for two days in August, will I be seeing two coaches on the lean bike? I do intend to hop on it several times to get the kinks out of my 'attitude' before returning to the track. And with your comment re. seeing two coaches would be a good idea, I was thinking it would indeed be a good idea. Orc
  7. I too am looking forward to the lean bike in August '11 at NJMP. By the time I straddle that thing, 8 months will have gone by since my levels 1 & 2, and if I'm lucky I'll have had three months to practice what I was taught in Vegas. All of this to say that I'll need to get back to work seriously on said machine to get back up to speed, so to say. My instructor will have a plate full keeping an eye on me... Orc
  8. Cobie, thanks for the quick reply. My next question is for Trevor: are all the laptimes for everyone kept in a database somewhere on the school's computer? If needed, could I get a reprint of my laps? Also, what were the slowest and quickest lap times, just so I know where I fit in the group? Orc
  9. First post: caution! I too have seen the schedule. Which leads me to my first question: going to Sign Up -> Tracks and accomodations, I see you list NHIS as one of your stomping grounds. Yet, it doesn't appear anywhere on your schedule. Such a shame, it would be so much closer to home... Given that, I signed up at NJMP for levels 3 & 4 in early August. Just the same, will Pocono and/or NHIS be included later?
