Viper
Hello, I'm just wondering it the correct technique of hanging off is being taught at 2-day camps (that would be my first CSS class - so, i think, i won't move past Level 2)? i tried to learn hanging off myself (from the MotoGP videos, from reading Keith's books and from looking at photos), but i'd like to get a more "fundamental knowledge" of how this should be done correctly. Is it possible?
motorthings
It is something that is adressed in a 2-day camp. We will definitely have the steering bike ready for you, which will help sort out some body position issues, and depending on the track (and its availalability of off-track paddock space) we will use the lean bike to focus more on your hang-off position. Which camp are you taking?
Viper
I will be taking the next one - June 10-11 at Willow Springs.... which is, BTW, 11 time zones away from my home (I live in Moscow, Russia )
Viper
P.S. Also another piece of curiosity - what is the steering bike? I couln't find any info about it on this site...
motorthings
the steering bike is also the "no BS" bike, and as we use it for the steering drill, there is nothing special about it...it is just the bike we use for that drill.
superdave88
The first time I tried to get the knee down I crashed! I went back the very next day and drug knee around two of the loops. The first being the loop I crashed on. Loops: Clover leaf interchange
