Kevin Kane Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 I've rented trailers from U-Haul for four years now. If it's one bike, I take their 5' x8 ' enclosed, if it's two I take their open 6' wide trailer with drop gate. Cheap, reliable and perfect for the job. Kevin Quote
nicenezy Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Why don't you check around with a couple of dealers to see if they might know where to rent. Also, Kendon Industries makes and sells trailers. They are located in Santa Ana if I remeber correctly. Perhaps they can give you an answer. Here's a link to their site: http://www.kendonusa.com/index.htm I'll have to agree with Kevin and the rest ... U-Haul is the best idea. One other thought. One of our cornerworkers who does not have the ability to tow a trailer, simply rents a standard pickup truck for a couple of days and hauls his bike that way. Puts the mileage, wear and tear on a rented vehicle rather than his personal auto. Since I just mentioned corner workers, we're looking to expand our roster here in SoCal. Go to our website and if you are interested, let us know. http://socalcornerworkers.com/ It's a great way to put into use what you've learned in the school. And you get as much riding in as a regular student ... plus the added benefit of having the track with corner workers only during lunch ... usually 30 to 60 minutes. Quote
betarace Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 you may want to try Eagle Riders http://www.eaglerider.com/ my local franchise rents 1, 2 and 3 rail trailers for $25-45 a day. Quote
