  1. Cheers Kai

Should have really bothered to check the forum before posting that. Not sure I'm a subscriber to the clutchless downshift yet but time will tell.

I'll be interested to hear what you do. Those that figured out how to do it correctly (or get coached well enough) I have found like it, and in a way its simpler. But not all for sure.

Just from reading about it, I have been practicing enough that I shift cluchless up and down every shift when Riding at hwy speeds. Riding my dirt bike, I started experimenting and found how easy it was and then moved it over to my street bike. It took some practice and I still don't get it right every time, but I sure do like the way the bike feels when I'm riding aggressively.

  2. What started me Riding was my Dad....

I Ride 'Track' because it gives me a challenge. To become better, faster, smoother. And there is no other feeling like it to rail around a corner hitting all your marks and diving into the next one!!!!

Street Riding, is more adventure Riding. Going places I wouldn't go in a cage. Making loops of at least 200 (s)mile's and just exploring.

Also, dual sport and dirt Riding. Great exercise and a nice way to get out into the great outdoors...

  3. I also think video games are good for practicing skills.

I was playing Need for Speed Shift (great game by the way) last night and I was having trouble with a corner at donignton. I was running wide in the same corner lap after lap. Finailly figured out I couldn't see the apex when entering the corner and I had no referance point for a turn point. Dooh!

I also find if I use some of the tools I've learend from the school, and use them while playing racing games,I do so much better.
