Weightng the outside peg for me was more of a matter of making the outside leg the place to push off of and into the bars. A way to apply even more pressure at the bars than the arms alone could provide. The newly added Tech Spec pads make the knee lock that much better which allows the pressure on the outside peg to be a great assist in countersteering. It's another of those "ah, ha" moments for me.

Hi all, long time lurker. I've decided to go with Tech Spec for my VFR that may never see any track use. Can't seem to find a good place to get it, Stomp grip is every where , maybe for a good reason but Tech Spec seems like it might be more forgiving on the install. Thanks! Dave

I started on the little Honda 70 and a few rat dirt bikes in the mid to late 70's. No real seat time on anything until the 82Maxim 650 came, and went in about 3 months. Self taught riding style of course, cheap and not worth much either! Since Y2K have got around 100K between a 95Tiger and 03VFR all street. Never been to a track but hope to in the future. I hope to be a life long learner/rider. This forum is very helpful along with all the twist books and dvd's. Keep up the great work!

I would say as a total newbie, it's got to be how quick you can turn your bike. Doesn't that effect everything else, even the Almighty fun Regulator on the right! I'm worried about corner entry speed because I can't turn it in as fast as I need to, NO!

Hi, all, never posted here before but top priority for me is setting my corner entry speed. If I come into the corner too slow I tend to get greedy on the exit and if I come into fast it sets off my panic buttons and I go into self preservation mode.

I loaned out my twist2 and never got it back so I still watch twist1 and still go over the 1&2 books. I always seem to pick up something I missed the last time I reviewed the materials. Ride, practice, read, watch and I still get those "ah ha" moments. Great stuff! Twist3? I will have to get it.
