shadow 1
Hey guys, I searched with no success. 2008 Ducati 1098S. Doing a track day Aug 18 in Fontana. Just bought new dunlop sportmax q2's. Anybody know what tire pressure is recommended for the track? And state which is Front and Rear? I always get confused with the #/# designation... ...And what are good street pressures for the Q2's while I'm at it? Thanks!
Bullet
hi, Try 30Front, 28 Rear. (cold pressures), for track. For road, I'd use something like 35front, 38-39Rear for spirited, single person riding, up the rear to 42 if two's up or carrying luggage. bradvanhorn
Steve (aka DUNLOP-RTS) posted this excellent information on tire pressures and use of warmers on another forum. It is more focused on the higher grade track day/racing tires, but still a worthwhile read for Q2 users. http://tracktalk.nes...ead.php?t=19270
