Dunlop Sportmax Q2 Track Tire Pressures

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I searched with no success. 2008 Ducati 1098S. Doing a track day Aug 18 in Fontana. Just bought new dunlop sportmax q2's.

Anybody know what tire pressure is recommended for the track? And state which is Front and Rear? I always get confused with the #/# designation...

...And what are good street pressures for the Q2's while I'm at it? :D

Thanks!

hi,

Try 30Front, 28 Rear. (cold pressures), for track. For road, I'd use something like 35front, 38-39Rear for spirited, single person riding, up the rear to 42 if two's up or carrying luggage.

Steve (aka DUNLOP-RTS) posted this excellent information on tire pressures and use of warmers on another forum. It is more focused on the higher grade track day/racing tires, but still a worthwhile read for Q2 users.
