KawiGirl
I have a new 2013 Kawi Ninja 650. I just made my first 100 miles on it and have started making a few custom changes. Well tonight, when I was changing out the stock grips, something happened on the throttle side. I don't know if I cranked it too far forward and backward, but it doesn't spring back anymore and has a loud click sound. I am bummed and to make matters worse, I live in a small town in Alaska where any motorcycle repair is difficult to get. I do maintenance on my bike and have changed out exhaust systems and such. Your trouble-shoot advise or suggestions would be much welcomed please. Thanks!
Balistic
Not too sure what could have gone wrong but it would nearly impossible to damage the throttle tube or throttle body by twisting the grip. First question is did you take the throttle case off over the end of throttle tube where the cables go in? Take pictures of the housing and send them to me at mechanic@superbikeschool. com so I walk you through the next step.

KawiGirl
Thanks for the info on the misalignment of the cable on the pulley. I fixed it and now the throttle works like new. Thank you again, Will!
