  1. Hello, my name's Carles and I'm from Barcelona (Spain). I'm very interested in learning all about your technique, cornering masters! Congratulations for the forum, I've been reading it and it's fantastic. Please excuse my english. tongue.gif

    Hello Charles,

WOW! How long have you been riding? What bike are you riding?

How many riding school/track days have you attended?

Looks like you have mastered cornering (judging by your picture) smile.gif

    Cheers,

When you finally get to level 1, you'll be amazed at the difference of your riding from the day before to the day after. The confidence and added stability is awesome.

    I've been nice too.

Yes, I am looking forward to Level I. In the meantime I am reading the book and see what improvements I can make/SR's I can make disappear. rolleyes.gif

Where are you geographically? Are you in California?

    Cheers,

  3. Greetings fellow riders, especially Keith Code!

I am new to this forum and am looking forward to attend the California Superbike School in March of 2011 at Laguna Seca. I am married and live in Salinas, CA.

A bit about myself: Born and raised in Austria, been in the US for over 20 years (US Citizen as well).

Had been riding the 100cc "Minibike" back in Austria as a tennager for three years. Nobody ever talked about counter steering. Go figure!

My wife suggested I should get a bike and I took her up on it. Got myself a new 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650r and have a lot of fun with it (on the weekends). I just wish I had done it sooner, because I am loving it. Got this bike so my wife and I can go on short rides together, but most of the time it's just myself.

Met some very nice fellow motorcycle enthusiasts on my weekend rides and bought the Twist of the Wrist book and

DVD. Am reading and watching the DVD (very good by the way) and am working on SR#1 right now. smile.gif

I am planning to get a true supersport bike in a year or so. But first, I need to attend the Superbike School Level I and II to learn the cornering stuff the right way. Looking forward to actually meet Keith Code and his crew in the Spring of 2011 and improve my cornering and remove those chicken strips on my tires. ;)

    That's it for now.

    Ride Safe!
