What are the characteristics, major differences between a 2015 slick and a old slick like 2013? Dot2013 vs Dot2015
Do you feel differences? Can tire get sloppy? Grip level?
Thanks for Input.
Best Regards
Roland

THere is a unlock key for the RCK3 and for the ECU Race itself. You need 2 Keys for the 2 Items? Or do you need 1 unlock key and can install rck3 and race ecu?

Just bought a New S1000RR at my BMW Dealer, would be delivered until next year 03/16.
Dynamic Package
Race Package
Forged Tires
My Purpose here is to get advice, knowledge and valuable information how top riders like you would set the S1000RR up and also share my experience How i really decided to set it up with pictures, data, information….
My Purpose of the S1000RR is:
To Win and Dominate the BMW S1000RR Advanced Cup in Europe with limited resources (Money).
(Germany, Slovakia, CZ…) (Drivers with Licenses are driving in the S1000RR Pro Cup). (Advanced Cup = never owned a license, Amateurs)
What I am thinking of Building the Bike up:
HP Race Power Kit
RCK2
Reverse Gear Shift System
Data Logging? (Sensors needed?)
Short Stroke Throotle needed?
Gilles/HP Footpegs?
Let me know your thoughts about it and how you would build up your BMW S1000RR for this kind of purpose.
Love to here from you.
Best regards
Roland from Austria

Cool Stuff.
Waiting for the Schedule for 2016. Want to check out Level 1-2 + Code Race in Willow Springs in the Spring time. Wanted to do it in October but was no available spot for Code Race.
CodeRACE fills up quickly, especially the spring version, as I recall. I suggest you email the office and ask already now.
Already called the office, told me I have to w8 until the new schedule gets released mid november...

That's awesome. Certainly sounds like you are going about things the right way. Every time I ride with the school I learn an incredible amount of stuff.
Since your plans are racing you should also consider the school's Code Race program if you haven't already.
When you start building your bike you should share your experience with us. It's really fun to be able to see someone getting "moved in" to a new machine. Back when I bought my bike I had a lot of fun sharing the process of getting my bike track ready. Here's a link for you.

I am looking to buy a BMW S1000RR or HP4, just can't decide what I want/need for my purpose. Maybe there are some good guys here who have great input on those 2 versions of the BMW.
Purpose: To ride and dominate the BMW Amateur Cup in Germany 2016
If you have the resources it takes to buy a BMW S1000RR/HP4 which one would you buy and why?
Thank you in Advance.

Wrong. It says "I'm mad, watch me smash the windscreen".

Hi Guys,
I am turning my Honda CBR1000rr SC59 Year: 2009/10 Repsol version into a full Track Bike and want to get good advice on it.
Objectives:
Get the best Performance/Quality out of the Bike with the least amount of Cost.
Reducing the Total weight of the bike by removing unnecessary parts
What can I remove from the bike to reduce the Overall weight and still have the right Balance of weight on the bike?
What Performance parts would you build into, Change on your Bike with amount of Maximum of 5.000€/5.000$
Available Resource for Performance Upgrade: 5.000€/5.000$
Thank you in advance.
