I am interested in learning how to race. What is the best way to go about getting the skills?

Assuming you've got the basics covered I would highly recommend the CODE RACE school. After many track days and schools I went to see whether I was ready to race and had a blast. Not only did it teach me racing techniques but it was also run like a race day so I knew what to expect.

 

I was still bummed to get beaten by Tommy Hayden in the end of day race but I guess he's had more practice
