R-1 Re-jetting

I was thinking about re-jetting the carbs on my 2001 R-1 and was wondering if the stock headers are enough ( I have a Jardine R-1 slip on right now ) and what problems ( if any ) the exup system will cause . If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them.

stock headers fine for a rejet - exup will also be fine (still helps ). If you do put a full system (will give a slighty higher peak power - but will lose some in low and mid range althougth saves weight) on then the exup can cause problems 2 options remove and buy aftermarket kit that fools the ecu its still there, or leave in place just hanging in fairings - if removed the rev counter will keep boucing to 7k as a diagnostic tool as well.
