Level 4... Abroad

Recommended Posts

Hello,my name is Aris and I live in Athens.

I’ve completed three CSS levels here in Greece.

Unfortunatelly we haven't got any special training devices.

NO Lean bike

NO slide bike

NO panic brake bike

NO video bike... etc

So i think i have to travel abroad to have a good level 4!

I was thinking about going to UK. I know they use a video bike at level 4

Would it be possible for me to use any other training devices/bikes from previous levels?

I think it would be very usefull !!

Any photos/videos or advice about Stowe circuit (in Silverstone)

How possible is to rain there at June 30th ?

Thank you!

HI Aris, welcome to the forum! I cant comment on the training bikes but as far as the weather is concerned, here in the UK there is just no way of telling! I booked my level 1 last July thinking there was a good chance of sunshine and it rained! I have again booked my levels 2 and 3 this July hoping for sunshine! But its worth doing the drills in the wet too!

Hi Aris,

Not sure if they have them all, and the facilities to use them. Best to contact the UK branch diretly.

Most of the tracks here in the US we can use them, and we take all training bikes to the schools (at the 2-day camps students can ride them all)

Best,

Cobie

Hi Cobie,

nice to talk to you!

Yes, a 2-Day camp would be great!

but it's much more expensive!

Air tickets to UK: $200

Air tickets to USA: $1500 !! :(

Also i think i can't rent a bike for a 2-Day camp.

I have to bring my own! Is that correct?

Got it on the costs, totally understand.

They should have bike rentals available, for any of the UK schools they put it up on the webpage, if they have bikes to rent or not. We do have them at all our schools.

That's why I thought i couldn't rent a bike for a 2-Day camp in the USA

because there is no rent price on the webpage...

The 2 day camps include the cost of using the schools ZX6R's for both days.
