roamingbeemer Posted November 13, 2012 Report Posted November 13, 2012 I am looking at the Miller MP class in 2013. I am assuming I must provide a bike since I see only 1 price. Thanks for any info. Quote

It's the opposite, actually - it is a 2 day camp which means the bike will be provided for you. And we'll be using the new 2013 S1000rrs by then. Quote
t84a Posted December 8, 2012 Report Posted December 8, 2012 So do all the 2 day classes use your bikes? I'm looking at May at NJMP. Quote
aslcbr600 Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 Unless things have changed for 2013 I asked if I could use my personal race bike for the 2day camp and they said they only allow you to use the S1000RR's for the 2day camps. Quote
Hotfoot Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 So do all the 2 day classes use your bikes? I'm looking at May at NJMP. Yes, 2 day camps use the school bikes. Single day schools allow either renting a school bike or bringing your own bike. Quote
tunnelvision748 Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 When using the schools' BMW's, are the bike's suspension adjusted for each student or does everyone ride with the same setup? More specifically, is the preload setup for the individuals weight? Quote
benhamf15 Posted January 10, 2014 Report Posted January 10, 2014 There will be another rider in another group on your bike while you're in the classroom sessions, so the suspensions are set-up somewhere in the middle to accomodate the widest range of riders. It is rarely an issue for students because you're typically only riding at about 75-80% of your maximum pace in order to free up enough attention to focus on the specific drill you will be given for each ride. If, however, you DO have an issue with the setup you can talk to Will, the CSS mechanic, to find a solution. Benny Quote
