I've only been riding for about 3 years, but for the last two years I've averaged approx. 30K/year. I love long-distance riding, but I need some serious work on my cornering skills. I've enjoyed a few long rides, but my ass never seemed to never have recovered (as I've not been on a long ride since). What bike(s) do you ride?
