dkk
Hi I ride a Triumph Daytona 675 and live in London. I did CSS level 1 at Silverstone in 2012 and absolutely loved it. Now this summer I will doing level 4 at Brands Hatch. I'm always trying to improve my skills on every ride so looking forward to learning a lot and contributing what I can to the forum. warregl
Welcome to the forum dkk. Tell us more your riding, are you a track day junkie looking to get faster or a street rider looking to get safer on the road? Are there any particulate areas of your riding that you are currently focused on? Best, Carey

shakabeemer
Howdy, I loved London when I was there and have recently been watching British Superbike racing to pick up whatever I can lean therein. I also saw a few spots from the British CSS and one hosted by a woman named Sheila on Youtube. All very instructive and entertaining. I've put a lot of effort into applying Keith's methods to my riding and am looking forward to doing my first track day May 20 in Millville NJ. Hope to see you in the forums again soon. dkk
Thanks for the welcome! I mostly ride on the street but try to do about 5 or 6 track days a year. So far they've all been in the novice group but I figured it was time to move up so I've got the first track day of the year booked into the intermediate group at Brands Hatch in a couple of weeks. My main goal is to go round corners faster. :-) British Superbikes is a great race series. I think it's probably the best domestic bike racing championship in the world. I'm actually going to the opening round this weekend!
warregl
British Superbikes is a great race series. I think it's probably the best domestic bike racing championship in the world. I'm actually going to the opening round this weekend! Its hard to argue with that statement. Roadracing World even did a nice write up on BSB (last year I believe). And considering all the challenges the AMA series has undergone I can only be envious of you being so close! So how was the opening round? dkk
So how was the opening round? It was great! There was heavy rain for qualifying and despite crashing 3 times Josh Brookes put it on pole but race day was lovely weather and Shane Byrne scored a double win. Brands Hatch is a great circuit for spectating. Here are a couple of my snaps. I'm doing a track day there next week and also CSS level 4 in June.
