Poll the different coaches and you'll find each has a favorite(s).  Right now with the track repaving that has happened in the last few years, tracks that weren't high on the list (universally) have moved up.  Streets of Willow is a good example.  A good track in design and weather, the re-pave has brought it up a whole level.

VIR has long been a staff favorite, like Barber.  We're beginning the first summer trip, so looking forward to all of these tracks in the next few months.

Laguna and NJMP have re-paved, it'll be good to see the changes there.  If you want, let us know your favorite, and why.

The above aren't the only staff favorites...

Just finished at Laguna, the 2 days there went well, our first time since it was repaved.

Next week we head to another track that had been a staff favorite for years, but since the surface had deteriorated, it slid down the list--Sonoma, or as the older-timers still call it, Sears Point.  It was re-paved over the winter, this will be our first time there.

Sears is one of the "no place to rest" tracks.  Basically you have the bike on one side or the other :).  Pretty good for the true cornering junkie--and toss into that real elevation changes--this makes for a challenging track.

The school was full, but a few late cancellations...

Obviously a fan of VIR for sure, although motorcycle racing has kind of fizzled out there as they move towards accommodating the car guys a little more.  Not a huge fan of the armco they installed a couple years back from the Hog Pen and down along the outside of the front straight, but I guess it's far enough away. Until it isn't. It IMO, does need a repave. VIR is very fast with plenty of technical challenge areas thrown in. Definitely some areas to tread lightly through until you figure out the Go/NoGo zones.  Not sure why, but I am very fond of "No Name Turn", which a lot of people have major hesitancy there.

Big fan of Barber. Beautiful place and the museum attraction is the best.

NJMP: Have not ridden there in years, but the new pavement and layout changes are calling my name.

Road Atlanta: Always been a bucket list track for me. I'll get there one day.

COTA: Well, It's COTA, what else can be said.

The repave at NJMP (Thunderbolt) is amazing...the traction level is phenomenal.  They also let it cure over the winter, I'm really hoping that adds to its longevity.
