Hi Hub, Realized I hadn't seen this before, so here's the answer: we run the stock pegs on our bikes, both coach and student. Rearsets are nice, but not for everyone and we can usually clean up a rider's riding to the point he is dragging little or not at all. They usually mount the peg back and up (hence rearset) for more ground clearance. Some will also allow adjustable positions of the pegs like these. Attack Rearsets 05-06 ZX6R They often have better grip, and sharper edges that grip the boots better. Some have gone so far (if the edges aren't sharp) to take a file and make them sharper.
