Jasonzilla Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 I know, the music is horrible. Skip to 3:00 to watch it go. How do you think "body steering" proponents would explain how this is turning?
mugget Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 Well, notice how he was slightly moving his head - this is all the body steering that is require to move a 1,000 lb Monotracer due to the gyroscopic enhancers within the cabin. It's completely scientific. Yeah, right. (But seriously - is there anyone these days who truly believes that body steering is how you make a single track vehicle go around a corner??)
Jasonzilla Posted December 29, 2011 Author Report Posted December 29, 2011 (But seriously - is there anyone these days who truly believes that body steering is how you make a single track vehicle go around a corner??) A few of them. An announcer for AMA and the Laguna Seca round of Moto GP mentioned that the term "countersteering" is overused, and that "Body English" is how you get the bike around the track. He was a world class racer.
