MM will be competitive and maybe snag a win or two in 2013, but I think a championship against the calibre of rider currently in MotoGP is beyond a rookie, even one as obviously gifted as him. faffi Posted October 23, 2012 Report Share Posted October 23, 2012 I'm pretty sure the performance gap between Moto2 and MotoGP is substantial, as we've seen so many times. Since 1975, at least, I can only recall two former 250 (now Moto2) champions who have gone on to win the big class; Rossi and Lorenzo.
