It's a desert area and can be surprisingly chilly in the morning, even when temps are expected to get to mid-70s or higher, so bring warm stuff to wear in the morning. Can be cool in the am for sure as you have been told, but it can also get pretty warm, so be ready for that too! Usually a very nice time to get a school in. I think April is the best time for that track, not too hot dooring the day. I'm praying to get a chance, to go back again this April of 2011.
