ScrmnDuc
To me, it seems like there have been more injuries or injuries that have required surgery this year in the upper levels of racing. Then again, I am paying more attention this year than years past, so maybe it's just me. If the injury rate is greater, what would you think is the cause, or causes ? tmckeen
I wouldn't say there have been any more Injuries this year than other years, I think the injuries Lorenzo and Pedrosa suffered are just getting about 10000% more commentator coverage because they talk about it about 6 times every race
faffi
They do crash more now, a likely result of the tyres. Throughout history, every time tyres progress beyond the chassis', crashes happen more often.
Cobie Fair
I really like the way Lorenzo turns the bike...but I wasn't a huge fan of some of his other stuff. Then he just manned up with riding with a busted collar bone. Gotta admire the guy for that.
khp
As much as I cheer for Rossi, I am in deep awe for Lorenzo's 5th spot at Assen with the broken collarbone. You could see the pain from his body as he passed the finish line, and his face in the garage.
